Sophia and Dimitri celebrated their marriage in two beautiful stages. Earlier in the year, they were married in an intimate ceremony at Coventry Registry Office. Later in the summer, they hosted a joyful garden party at the bride’s family home in Birdingbury, Warwickshire. The garden, set beside a tranquil pond, provided a stunning backdrop for their relaxed and meaningful day. Captured by local Warwickshire wedding photographer John Fox, the celebration reflected the couple’s personality and close family bonds.

A Garden Party Full of Personal Touches

The entire day unfolded at the family home. Both Sophia and Dimitri got ready on-site, before making their way down the garden path to the wedding marquee. The bridesmaids stepped in as celebrants and led a touching symbolic ceremony. The bride’s father gave a heartfelt reading, and an aunt added a meaningful prayer. Drinks and canapés followed, with the celebrations centred around the marquee and the beautiful grounds.

John captured group photographs and candid moments, including some striking drone images that highlighted the setting. Later in the evening, the couple enjoyed their photoshoot in the soft, golden light — a perfect end to a perfect day. Working alongside him was Simon from John Fox Wedding Films, who preserved the day in moving images, offering the couple a complete and creative record of their celebration.
