Rikki and Jack’s Pre Wedding Story

A Warwickshire Bluebell Wood

Rikki and Jack travelled to Warwickshire for their pre-wedding session in a beautiful bluebell wood. As a Wedding Photographer in the West Midlands, I often use locations close to home that offer natural light and seasonal colour. This woodland was at its best, with bluebells creating a soft and vibrant backdrop for a relaxed session.

A Journey That Started at the National Wedding Show

Rikki and Jack first met John at the NEC National Wedding Show around two and a half years ago. They booked their wedding photography shortly after, with over two and a half years to go before their wedding date. This shows the value of booking early and securing your first choice wedding photographer well in advance.

A Beautiful Natural Setting

The woodland provided a calm and open space for the shoot. Because of the season, the bluebells added colour and texture throughout the scene. This helped create natural images without the need for anything forced or staged.

Rikki and Jack spent time together walking through the woodland paths. This allowed their images to feel relaxed and genuine, with a focus on real interaction and little direction.

Why a Pre-Wedding Session Matters

A pre-wedding session helps couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. It gives time to understand how I work and allows everything to feel easier on the wedding day.

In addition, it helps build confidence so the focus stays on enjoying the day rather than worrying about photographs.

Wedding Plans at Mill Barns

Rikki and Jack will marry in a few weeks at Mill Barns in Shropshire. This modern barn venue is set within a waterside countryside location and is known for its clean architecture and natural surroundings.

Mill Barns offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. As a result, it works well for relaxed wedding photography with plenty of natural light and flowing movement throughout the day.

The bluebell woodland session is a quiet and simple contrast to the excitement of the wedding day ahead. It forms part of the wider story of Rikki and Jack’s journey.

As a Wedding Photographer in the West Midlands, the focus is always on capturing real moments as they happen. From calm natural settings to the energy of the wedding day, the story is told in an honest and timeless way.
