As Caroline and her bridesmaids busied themselves with the final touches of preparation alongside the skilled hands of the hair and makeup professionals, the weather outside painted a different scene. Despite the persistent rain, the church in Pattishall, Northamptonshire stood steadfast, providing a sanctuary for Caroline as she arrived accompanied by her brother, who gallantly gave her away. Yet, as the ceremony concluded and the newlyweds emerged, umbrellas blossomed open, shielding them from the rain’s embrace but unable to deter the joyful cascade of confetti that rained down upon them.
