Pre-wedding shoot in Hitchin in Hertfordshire

Pre-Wedding Shoot in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

John Fox Wedding Photography recently captured a stunning pre-wedding shoot in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. The session took place in a vibrant lavender field and followed the couple’s marriage at the Hertfordshire registry office. They were preparing for their upcoming celebration, which will be officiated by a celebrant at the magnificent Stowe House. The shoot gave the couple a chance to relax, feel comfortable in front of the camera, and build a connection with John ahead of their wedding day.

The Perfect Location

The Lavender Field in Hitchin was chosen for its picturesque qualities. Rows of blooming lavender stretched to the horizon, creating a striking backdrop. The vibrant purple flowers contrasted beautifully with the dramatic skies, adding romance and drama to the photographs. John Fox used natural light and careful composition to capture the best of the setting, producing images that are timeless and unique.

Aerial Perspectives

Adding a modern twist to the shoot, John captured a few aerial shots using his drone. These bird’s-eye views highlighted the couple amidst the lavender fields and offered a perspective that traditional photography could not. Combining ground-level and aerial images created a visually dynamic and diverse collection.

This session held special meaning for Fatima, the bride, who has a passion for photography and hopes to become a professional photographer. The pre-wedding shoot allowed her and her fiancé to get used to being photographed while observing John’s techniques. Their shared interest in photography added another layer of connection, making the experience even more enjoyable.
