Looking back at 2024, I had the pleasure of capturing two beautiful weddings in Gloucestershire, a region full of charm and picturesque venues. As a seasoned Wedding Photographer covering the UK and beyond, Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham and Pauntley Court in Gloucestershire were both wonderful venues to photograph at. Each venue brought its own unique atmosphere, offering breathtaking settings that perfectly complemented the couples’ celebrations and provided an array of creative photography opportunities.

Pauntley Court

Pauntley Court is a hidden gem nestled in the Gloucestershire countryside, steeped in history and brimming with romance. This enchanting 15th-century manor is surrounded by tranquil gardens, rolling fields, and a medieval dovecote. Its timeless charm made it the perfect backdrop for capturing intimate moments and elegant portraits.

On the wedding day, it was lovely to wander the grounds, finding picturesque spots to create beautiful memories for the couple. The historic manor, combined with its peaceful setting, allowed for stunning compositions that truly reflected the couple’s joy and the venue’s unique character.

Manor by the Lake

Cheltenham’s Manor by the Lake is a spectacular Victorian manor house offering a blend of grandeur and versatility. Surrounded by stunning gardens and a picturesque lake, the venue provides endless opportunities for creative wedding photography. For this wedding, the pre-wedding shoot was an essential step in preparing for the big day. It gave me the chance to collaborate with the couple and understand their vision while exploring the venue’s highlights, ensuring every meaningful moment would be beautifully captured. From the bridal preparations to the emotional first dance in the ornate ballroom, every detail was perfectly preserved in the images.
